Fifpros World Xi,deserved?

The balon d'or awards took off yesterday and saw Lionel Messi break yet another record by winning 4 balon d'ors in a row,truely deserved,but the other highlight(and i'm not talking about Fernando Torres high)was the selected best world Xi for the year 2012.Many people argued about who should and shouldn't be there,and the fact that the players were all from la liga made matters worse,so here's my Opinion:

GK:Iker Casillas:Spain and Madrids captain,Casillas is arguably the best goalkeeper in the world!Many would argue that perhaps Buffon should have been there,lets not forget that Casillas guided Spain to their 2nd Euro in a row,and also Madrid to their 32nd La liga trophy.The accolades speak for themselves.Casillas probably deserved it.

LB:Marcelo:This one completely suprised me,i mean i know he had a good season last year but he has been out since October with an injury,that's 2 months of no football!Does it mean he played so well that 2months wasn't enough for every other left back to step up to the plate?I generally think Jordi Alba,Ashley Cole or Philip Lahm should have been there instead of Marcelo.

CB:Sergio Ramos:How do the board of professionals choose places again?Sergio Ramos was exceptional last year & played a part in Madrids title chase,but since the start of this new season his form had dropped so bad that Varane took his place at some point.Surely if you're the best Center back that wouldn't happen would it?according to fifa it would.

CB:Gerard Pique:Not really sure what Pique has done,i mean don't get me wrong he was 'good' last year but i still can't put my finger on how he was included in the squad,didn't Mascherano play more games than him or something?His form dipped alot and if it wasn't for Puyols injury i don't think he would have played at the Euros.
How about Hummels?Kompany? Chiellini?

RB:Dani Alves:Was also injured for most of the season but somehow managed to find himself in the squad,sure he won the Spanish cup and all but he wasn't Mr reliable at the back and it's somehow shocking how he was included.

Midfielders:

Xabi Alonso:Although it's debatable I think Alonsos' adition was alright,Many feel that Pirlo should have been there instead of Alonso,well that's were the 'Debatable' part comes in because i personally feel Alonso did more for Spain and Madrid than Pirlo for Italy and Juventus.

Xavi Hernandez:Deserved

Andres Iniesta:Deserved

Forwards:

Lionel Messi:Deserved

Cristiano Ronaldo:Deserved

Radamel Falcao:Alot candidates for this slot,but realistically speaking who was better than Falcao last year?He won the Europa league and single handedly destroyed Chelsea in the UEFA Super cup,many say Van Persie should have been there,yes Van Persies goals are the reason Arsenals playing Champions league football right now,yes he won the EPL golden boot and Arsenals player of the year but at intenational level he failed to shine,he only scored 1 goal and him and his country never even won a match!Falcao managed to score hatricks for colombia(despite the fact that most games were friendlies,he still showed that he gives his all everywhere).
My vote would go to Falcao anyday.
Amongst the players who most feel should be there are Didier Drogba,Sergio Aguero,Fernando Torres? Ibrahimovic and Neymar.

If you have any suggestions,please feel free to comment

Harry Redknapp says QPR can now challenge for the EPL trophy

After coming out with a shocking 0-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford bridge,Harry Redknapp felt that that was the motivation and sign they needed to compete for the Premier league trophy.

It was a tough fixture for the squad,travelling to the rivals home ground with nothing but Cisse and Taraabt in their squad but somehow managed to clinch a late victory after Shaun Wright-Phillips landed in the crucial blow.One man who was the most excited about the win was veteran goalie Julio Ceaser,whose main intention of going to QPR was to win Premier league."We can win it now i believe"He said after saving Fernando Torres' pass"We're only 39pts behind leaders Manchester United,meaning we're so close".Many argued with Rafa Benitez for opting to play the game with only 9men in the field,but he made things clear that with Demba Ba going to Chelsea,they had to learn how to play with a false nine instead of the occassional invisible one(Torres).He also said Mata and Hazard were on the bench because only because he wanted to feel what it would be like to be on the brink of being fired."It was exciting" he said with no expression what so ever,"I've never felt so awesome in my life".

That was only QPR's 2nd win of the season so far,and at this rate Harry Redknapps' men will surely challenge Man united for the Trophy especially with their new plans to bolster their squad with another 12 new players they wish to sign this January,life couldn't get any better for the rangers.If you want to know which players they will sign,think of all the rejects from big clubs around Europe.

Liverpool will only sign 2 of the 500 strikers they wanted to sign

The January transfer window is officially open and this is the period when all sorts of rumours fly out on the news.Liverpool is one team that has been looking to bolster their forward line and this morning director Ian Ayre confirmed that Liverpool would only sign 2 forwards.

"It's sad i know" he said "We were really looking forward to signing all those 500 forwards,but you have to be realistic in football,We weren't going to have enough Melwoods to accompany them".This statement came after they had been linked with the 501st one Wesley Sneijder.

Rodgers said;
"Ofcourse it's important to have a Spartan squad of 300men and that's what i'm looking for,but the truth is..if we haven't worked together or if you weren't at chelsea,i won't sign you"

While liverpool fans were left bedazzled by his comments,there was a certain sense of optimism as Liverpool would now be aquiring 300more players in the summer,but as for the January Transfer window they will only sign 2players.Alot of journalists were wondering why Rodgers was going after Tom Ince seeing that they have never worked together in any form at all but Rodgers again made it clear why he was signing the Blackpool wing wizard;
"We went to rehabilitation school together...he was a baby and i was about 24yrs old.I had guided him to where the toilet was on one occation and that was how we worked.I could remember how quick he walked to the toilet,from there onwards I knew that he would provide some speed to this group"

What a tactical lad Rodgers is,so Sturridge and Ince will be 2 of players liverpool sign this window.Some of the 500player liverpool want to sign include,Di Santo,the whole Swansea squad(except from Michu and that other lad from Celtic FC),The Chelsea Reserves and so on and so forth.
