Let's Talk MKX and DLC characters

So once again Netherrealm studios will grace us with another edition of Mortal Kombat called Mortal Kombat X or MKX. The epic gore fest is back (or will be in April next year) in an all new edition which features some pretty awesome features like their new gameplay and the option of choosing fighting styles before a fight. The game takes place in a span of 25 years, starting from where Mortal Kombat 9 finished.

As usual, one thing has got the fans in 6s and 7s, The Roster. The dynamic duo, Scorpion and Sub-Zero will obviously be there, Raiden, Kano and Goro(?) have been confirmed as well. There have also been new inclusions such as Ferra & Torr, Cassie Cage, that insect bitch and Kotal Khan. While this is undoubtedly good news, some fans are split over the decision and are still wishing old classics like Fujin, Reiko, Jarek (Lol), Tanya, Lei Mei and so on would be added to the roster.
"I am bad ass"
In as much as it is important that the world of Mortal Kombat must be expanded upon, I still feel that some characters were dumped so unfairly that we didn't get the chance to see them live up to their potential...and X Rays. One prime example is Fujin. If for some reason Ed Boon decides that he wants to add a character who was long forgotten, I feel Fujin must be first in line. Fujin had some of the coolest moves ever seen in Mk, the tornado thingy, the wind thingy and other Cyclone wind 'thingys'. I also felt that Taven kicking his ass in Armageddon was uncalled for, that's just me though. Another character that should be considered is Reiko, mostly because he was like a reincarnation of Shao Khan, it would be cool if he started his own Brotherhood of Shadow army to rebel against Khans forces because he wants to take over Khans throne, or some random sh*t like that.

Now for DLC characters.

Gaming forums have been going wild over who players want to see in the next MK game, especially after discovering that Freddy Krueger would be fitted into the story somehow [insert Dream realm reference here] in the previous installment. Suggestions have gone from Predator to Jason Vorhees to Rorsach? To Master Chief to even Bugs Bunny for some weird reason. Ed really has a plethora of options here you know.
After Sony decided to incorporate the legendary god of war, Kratos, into MK9, Microsoft fan boys have been raging over the possibility of having John 117 in the Xbone version of it. While it does sound pretty exciting to have the chief in mortal kombat, I don't really think the Chiefs profile fits into Mortal Kombats brute and Gore style, perhaps Marcus Fenix would be more comfortable in these situations?
Predator is an interesting one because I feel he would fit the kombat perfect and no not because Cyber Sub Zero did look like him or anything, but if there's a chance he was included, I'm sure his moves would be quite similar, Suicide explosive fatality anyone?

Then comes the curious case of Jason Vorhees. The main reason he was suggested is because Freddy was included and because he's freaking Jason. Think about it? Jason Vorhees kicking Lui kangs ass  while stubbing Johnny Cage with his epic sword? Not bad huh? Voorhees is also the most probable of the lot. It was even reported that he was considered for Mortal Kombat 9 instead of Freddy, and it’s rumored that NetherRealm actually built a full model for of him.

Characters I want to return?
Smoke, Cyrax, Ermac, Sektor, Jade, Mileena, Bo Rai Cho, Shinnok, Reiko, Fujin, kameleon. Atleast half of  please. these

"The Suffering" should totally be remastered with Next Gen graphics

Okay Okay before you judge me I'd just like to first point out that I was indeed a huge fan of the Sufferings franchise. Regardless of what people say I think this game was really great. Sure, the enemies where sometimes ridiculous to kill and the models was poorly designed (In the first game) but that cannot erase the fact that overall, it was a fun game with a solid story that had loads of potential.
Two things I really liked about this game, the malefactors found in baltimore and most of the characters involved, like Blackmore and Dr killjoy. The malefactors/creatures had really cool names and designs, like the Gorger, the Arsenist and the slayer. See if this game was further expanded upon, it could have had a great following..much like deadspace, heck I would campaign to be president of its fanbase.
The protagonist, Torque, was also an interesting character in that he never said a single word throughout both games but rather thrilled me with his badass expressionless enigma. Imagine how epic he would be with much more fluid controls and some next gen graphics thrown on him? Too much. I always wake up with the hope that one day midway and surreal will suddenly decide to recreate the franchise with perhaps a different approach to the story and some major fixes to it. Also, it was one of the few games I played (at that time) that allowed you to pick between 3rd person and first person view - which I thought was pretty innovative considering it was a survival horror. Of course there would be much to fix, but once that's done, this might end up being one of the best franchises ever, and No I'm not joking, it was one of the best ps2 games I played. Like Top 50.
These are entirely my thoughts. Do you agree with me? Write your views in the comment section.
